Sylphiel is a kind and caring Shrine Maiden from the now destroyed city of Sairaag. She's very soft spoken and rather mousy, and has an obvious crush on Gourry. Her mastery of White Magic is unparalleled even by Amelia! In fact, if it weren't for Sylphiel's power and expertise, Lina Inverse would have been killed by Kopii Rezo! However, if she tries to cast Black Magic, well,...let's just say she shouldn't try!
Specialty: Sylphiel has incredible talent with White Magic, and horrible suckiness in Black Magic. Specifically, her Flare Arrows look like carrots!!! However, she can cast one spell in the category of Black Magic. Sylphiel decided she needed to be more powerful, so she spent a lot of time practicing the ultimate spell of Black Magic, The Dragon Slave and can actually cast it with a good amount of skill! How Ironic is that? I almost crapped myself when I first saw her cast it in Slayers Next!
